To me, Myst V: End of Ages just didn't cut it.Myst 3 - Exile Cheats, Cheat Codes, Hints, Tips That counterbalancing puzzle doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever. Also, the puzzles have almost gone back to the beginning of the series and really do not at all have anything to do with each other. Perhaps it was the lack of Atrus and the linking books. The graphics were a major step down compared to its predecessors and it just loses that "Myst feeling" to it. It's frustrating! Myst V: End of Ages - They completely threw this game down the chute. Though this is a great game, the puzzles can get very tedious at times, especially the timed puzzle in Spire where you have to slide the three notches on the cables to "tune" the crystals. A somewhat complicated plot is involved to make the Myst experience even better. The amulet is REALLY nice because I don't have to read every word written in the Journals. Myst IV: Revelation - The new style of the hand is a great addition as the hand is animated. The puzzles are cleverly done and the characters each have their own personalities that really stand out from one another. The plot also does a good job of continuing from Riven. The storyline is nicely done and it can certainly take a while to complete without a guide (I have still yet to do that). The puzzles all interlock in some way shape or form. Nonetheless, it is still a classic game to play Riven: The Sequel to Myst - This game really steps up the graphics and storyline from the first game. Myst - Myst was a good game during its time period and was very clever, but the graphics are way outdated and the puzzles don't really have anything to do with each other. The creators of the Myst franchise gave the task of creating the third Myst game to Presto Studios, known for its adventure game series The Journeyman Project. The Stranger pursues the thief in an attempt to reclaim Atrus' book. In Exile, Atrus has written an Age for the D'ni to live on while rebuilding their civilization it is stolen, however, by a mysterious figure.
